Mission Statement
At Women of Destiny Coaching and Business Women (WOD), our mission is to equip and empower individuals with biblical and business strategies to unlock their God-given destiny. Founded in 2016, WOD is dedicated to helping aspiring entrepreneurs, business owners, and leaders—whether women, men, or couples—realize their full potential through personalized coaching, mentorship, and practical training.
Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and vision-building experiences, we aim to inspire growth, provide guidance, and cultivate a community of leaders who are driven by purpose. Our future vision includes expanding WOD’s global reach, launching businesses, and supporting their success through consulting services, ensuring that each individual fulfills their destiny both in business and life.

The Start
In 2018, Women of Destiny Coaching and Business Women became an official sole proprietorship in Pennsylvania. Over the next few years, my personal growth as a business owner became essential, and WOD gradually expanded as I dedicated time to studying, planning, and developing the principles that are now used in coaching and teaching.
MidWay Point
In 2021, my husband and I traveled to Uganda to attend the wedding of a dear friend. During that visit, we recognized an opportunity to collaborate with her and her new husband in Uganda. In 2022, we began planning for The Training Center, which is currently in the planning stage and set to be built in 2025. This center will offer foundational Bible courses, business skills, leadership training, and hands-on business workshops. Since then, our friend and her husband have received coaching and are now running WOD in Kampala, Uganda.
Around this time, we also identified the need to write a book that outlines WOD's principles, along with a workbook (currently in progress). Over the past year, I have been writing How to Become a Woman of Destiny (available for purchase as of October 2024!) while continuing to coach young women in Pennsylvania and conduct seminars in Uganda. In 2023, we launched Vision Experience Days, where participants are taught vision and goal setting, followed by the creation of a vision board.
Future Vision
As of 2024, WOD has seen growth in one-on-one coaching, with plans to expand into more speaking engagements, increase the number of independent coaches, and provide greater support for our members. We have also begun offering one-on-one coaching for men and are planning to expand our services to include coaching for married couples who want to start a business together.
Our future goals include helping to launch 10 new businesses for WOD members by 2034. This initiative will include providing consulting support for a full year to ensure each business's success.
Women of Destiny Coaching and Business Women!
My name is Sarah Lindsay, and I am the founder of Women of Destiny (WOD). Alongside this business, my husband and I also run a nonprofit ministry called Heaven's Lighthouse (heavenslighthouse.org). In 2016, I received a word about transitioning from mentoring to coaching. The name "Women of Destiny" was given to me, along with the purpose of guiding young businesswomen to recognize the Destiny God has for each of them.
The teachings and coaching focus on "strategies from the Bible and business principles." These strategies are designed for anyone with entrepreneurial aspirations.
